The actress and partner of Brad Pitt went to the Dominican Republic to tour a hospital in the capital of Santo Domingo and speak with patients.
Jolie went to the Dario Contrera Hospital which is treating dozens of survivors from the January 12 disaster that claimed the lives of 200,000 Haitians.
The superstar actress went to the Dominican Republic in her capacity as a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and UNICEF.
She was joined by Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, who is the son of the celebrated writer Mario Vargas Llosa. Jolie and Pitt donated $1million to Doctors Without Borders in Haiti.
A spokesman for the Dario Contrera said: "She spoke with several children and a Haitian woman who recognised her and requested help."
