Victoria Beckham has reportedly landed a role in the third Madagascar movie alongside Ben Stiller and David Schwimmer.

The 35-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer has previously had guest spots in shows such as Ugly Betty and has provided the voice-over in an episode of Spongebob Squarepants.

It is claimed her first movie role will be voicing a role in the animated movie Madagascar 3, which is due for release in 2012.

The first Madagascar flick was released in 2005 and was about a group of zoo animals that escaped and were accidentally sent back to Africa.
