Singer Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from husband Deryck Whibley.
The chart-topper cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split after just over three years of marriage.
Lavigne says in the papers the couple married in July 2006 and separated on Septemeber 4.
She is not asking Sum 41 star Whibley for spousal support.
