Singer Rihanna has said ’so much great’ has come out of her assault ordeal with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The 21-year-old star’s trauma at the hands of Brown, 20, shocked the world earlier this year after a police photograph of her beaten face was released.

Asked if she still has anger about it, she told UK magazine Look: “As bad and as terrible as it was, so much that’s great came out of the situation.

“Even for [Chris], he knows now that he’s never going to do that again. Young girls can learn from it - but more than the girls, men need to learn from it.

“Everyone’s focusing on the women, but the problem isn’t the women.”
