Singer Beyonce Knowles shocked fans when she crowd-surfed during a free gig at the O2 Arena in London.

The 28-year-old star dived off the stage into the crowd during the finale of her free concert for fans.

She was singing her track Halo and was carried across the crowd wearing a hot-pant bodysuit and managed to continue with the song and sing live as she was passed from fan to fan.

The singer was lifted through the venue before she returned to her podium to finish the track.

Her sister Solange praised her and wrote on Twitter: “She’s just Bad-a**! How many pop stars do you know crowd surfin’ in heels and still hitting perfect notes?”
