Robbie Williams believes that Lady GaGa has what it takes to be the new Madonna.

The 35-year-old singer recently performed his first live show in three years in London and said that the Poker Face singer will be a huge star.

He said to Radio 1’s Scott Mills before the gig: “I think Lady GaGa is a great pop star. She could be the new Madonna if she doesn’t slag it up too much.

“Madonna did slag it up, but not as much as Lady GaGa. Perhaps that’s what’s needed? I like La Roux. Wow, I’m looking at all three of Bananarama moulded together. I was there in the Eighties.

“I think Lily Allen’s been the best of the bunch. I’m scared of her. It’s a minefield when you’re with her.”
