Rapper Snoop Dogg has said he would like a role in the HBO vampire series True Blood.

The 38-year-old rapper drops the name of the show in his track Gangsta Love and he admitted he would love to appear in an episode.

He told MTV News: “You know I’m down with it. I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I’d be a hell of a vampire, don’t you think? So what’s happenin’? True Blood, get at me - Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire.”

The HBO show stars Brit actor Stephen Moyer as vampire Bill Compton and Anna Paquin as waitress Sookie Stackhouse.

The couple, who are engaged in real life, then fall in love.
