Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have failed to appear before a California court on felony charges of defrauding an innkeeper.

Prosecutors in Santa Barbara are now seeking the extradition of the couple, who were due in court after multiple opportunities to appear for a hearing.

Senior deputy DA Lee Carter said an arrest warrant for the Quaids is active and vowed to seek their extradition from Texas.

The Quaids were slapped with felony charges after a hotel alleged they used an invalid credit card to avoid paying a $10,000 bill.
