Proud mum Minnie Driver happily monkeys around with her 15-month-old son Henry in scenes from an adorable home video.

The British actress shared the video of little son Henry talking and imitating animal noises when she appeared on a US chat show yesterday.

She said: “I have a video of Henry talking.

“I like to sit him on the kitchen counter with no clothes on and make him talk. It might not even be that interesting to you but to me I’m like, ‘Here’s a video of my son talking!’

“It’s to me the most extraordinary thing in the world that this little tiny being is starting to copy and make sounds and express himself and reveal who he is.”

In the clip, Minnie asks Henry what noises animals such as gorillas or cats make and the tot responds by pretending to be the animal in question.

Henry also says “Dadda” and “Momma” when prompted by Minnie, who has never revealed who the little boy’s dad is.

Doting Minnie said: “Every day, you think you can’t love them any more and you do. It’s extraordinary.”

And she joked: “You find you have an ever-expanding heart, which is a magical thing to discover when you’re 25, like me.”
