Kelly Osbourne made a guest appearance in the BBC1 drama Hotel Babylon.

The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne played a bored teenager who checked into the hotel with her parents and befriended a teenage swimming champion and helped her stand up to her controlling parents.

Her character Jo said: “It is just so boring having jet-setters for parents. Not to mention having to travel the stupid world with them. I burnt down the pool house and they think it is some kind of cry for help, but it was just a really good party.”

The 24-year-old who has previously starred in her family’s reality television show and tried her hand at singing and presenting has also recently shown her acting skills in the West End in the musical Chicago.

Friday’s episode of Hotel Babylon also starred former Pop Idol finalist Darius Danesh who played the editor of an Italian celebrity magazine.

Hotel Babylon had secured an exclusive magazine deal to host a royal wedding in the hotel, but it was cancelled and with the hotel desperate for money to pay an unexpected tax bill they decided to stage the event before being caught out by the magazine editor.
