Ivanka Trump, 27, married Jared Kushner, the publisher of the New York Observer in a New Jersey wedding ceremony on Sunday.

Trump is the daughter of New York business magnate Donald “The Donald” Trump and holds a key position in his empire. She wore a Vera Wang wedding dress to say her vows before 500 guests and close friends at Trump’s National Golf Club in Bedminster. Regis Philbin was on hand to serenade the newlyweds.

Trump was recently shown in a television interview acknowledging she had converted to Judaism. When asked if she had done so in order to marry Kusher, she replied emphatically that she had converted to Judaism “and” was marrying Kushner.

Kushner also comes from a wealthy family. Trump earlier said after getting engaged in July: “I always envisioned myself having a traditional and elegant wedding.”

Just before her wedding she tweeted that she went out for some exercise. “Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I’m getting married today!”
