Law Abiding Citizen star Gerard Butler has been voted the best British actor in Hollywood in a new poll.
The 40-year-old Scot, who is best known for his roles in PS. I Love You and 300, beat off competition from Batman star Christian Bale and Daniel Day Lewis.
Butler received 18 per cent of the vote in a survey of 1,000 people for the DVD rental company Lovefilm.
The Reader actress Kate Winslet, 34, came fourth and was one of only two women in the top 10. Wanted star James McAvoy, 30, came fifth ahead of House actor Hugh Laurie, 50, and Twilight star Robert Pattinson, 23.
In eighth place was Transporter star Jason Statham 37, followed by Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor, 38. The Devil Wears Prada star Emily Blunt, 26, came in tenth.
