Gerard Butler up for Golden Raspberry award for film flops

Gerard Butler up for Golden Raspberry award for film flopsHollywood star Gerard Butler is reportedly in line for a Golden Raspberry award for film flops.

The 40-year-old actor is lined up to join other stars such as Madonna and Sylvester Stallone as a winner of one of the gongs after receiving poor reviews for three of his flicks.

He has played a sexist TV host in The Ugly Truth, a killer trapped in a video game in Gamer and a vigilante dad in Law Abiding Citizen.

John Wilson, organiser of the Razzies, said: “I would say he has at least a 50-50 chance. We list however many cr***y movies they make in one year and Gerard Butler has three titles.”

He added that the ballot papers for the ceremony will be sent out in January.

  1. How does a movie that has over $70 million in box office, Law Abiding Citizen. and another movie that has over $200 million in box office world wide including 90 million domestically, The Ugly Truth, equal flops?

    Clearly the average movie goer
    often disagrees with critics.

  2. Clearly this man is an idot.
The Ugly Truth and Law Abiding
Citizen have been not only national
    hits but international as well.
I don’t know where this guy gets
his info but he better check his
sources. As far as box office goes
Gamer didn’t do all that badly
    either.
The movie going public do not agree
witht this source. These films and
this actor has won awards all over
the world for these films, and he
has just been named Variety international star of the year and
    Glasgow film ambassador.
What kind of trickster prints this
    garbage?
