Rapper 50 Cent has revealed he carries around $25,000 in cash at all times - “just in case”.

The In Da Club singer, 34, said he likes to have money with him because it makes him feel secure.

And he said he never knows when he might want to go on a shopping spree.

He said: “I always carry $25,000, in cash, just in case something happens.

“I don’t know whether I’ll have to buy something or not.

“I like to have cash on me because it feels like I have money.”

“Fiddy”, real name Curtis Jackson, appeared on Tyra Banks’ US television talk show to promote his new CD, book and fragrance.

He also revealed he ended his six-year feud with ex-girlfriend Vivica Fox by inviting her to appear in his latest music video for Do You Think About Me.

He said: “I called her and I said, ‘You got to stop fighting and be in my video.’

“The song is about when relationships don’t work, and when I explained it to her, it kind of intensified what the song was about.”
